no one ever told me that the things i am faced with in life would make me stronger, until recently. i always heard it but never thought it applied to myself. all my life i have wondered "why me". a friend of mine told me that the bad things in life just make me stronger because they believe that something good will happen to me, it has to. whether it is tomorrow or twenty-five years from now, i will be happy.

this weekend, i went to see my dad at my uncles house. it was good. everyone wished me a happy birthday and i got some money. i liked seeing my dad this time because i did not feel like everyones main focus was gabby. i know it sounds selfish. if you have siblings, you'll understand. we went to the t-mobile store to see if they had the sidekick 3's in, but they didn't. they do not go on sale until july 10. so my uncle who knew the owner of that store, had them put one on reserve for me, so that when i come in i'll be able to pick it up.
